Story

Thanks for visiting our page! Following some amazing efforts from colleagues, we wanted to join them to raise money for the British Porphyria Association http://www.porphyria.org.uk/ to mark Porphyria Awareness Week.

Paul and I will therefore be running 100km between us in 7 days (Sunday 19 April to Saturday 25 April). If we reach our target before the end of Saturday, we will do another 20km on Sunday.

UPDATE: Target met so challenge accepted!

British Porphyria Association
Our primary aim is to support and educate patients, relatives and medical professionals about the porphyrias, so as to improve the lives of those living with its effects.

Although the disorders can in some cases be very severe and are often portrayed in a dismal light, there are many reasons to be optimistic. With the right information most porphyria patients can still live life to the full.
