I have become involved with Maggie's through my work as an architect at Barts Hospital in central London, to support the construction of the Maggie's Centre there. The Centre, in the middle of the oldest continuously operational hospital in the world, and in an inspiring historic setting, is a valuable counterpoint to the treatments available there.

Maggie's wasn't yet founded, when my grandmother was ill with cancer in 1980s, but she would have gained no end from what they offer. I'd like to help make what Maggie's can offer available to everyone.

Fundraising for the construction of the Centre at Barts, continues, and I'd like to help it on its way. When Maggie's at Barts is finished, more Centres are planned both in UK and abroad.
