I have been very fortunate to be visiting Jamyang London for a number of years now, attending teachings as well as retreats, and during all this time I have always been made very welcome, so much so that it even has become a home from home for me.

If you don't know Jamyang:

Jamyang Buddhist Centre has been serving London for well over 30 years and has established itself as part of the community, for both Westeners & Tibetans alike.

The centre,  which sympathetically & harmoniously occupies The Old Courthouse, a listed building near Kennington Tube Station, is a registered charity and very much reliant on donations, not only for its day to day running and upkeep but also for replacing & updating books etc, as well as the acquisition of relevant artwork & statues. Furthermore, it enables Jamyang to carry on inviting highly respected teachers from time to time.

It is for the above reasons that I have chosen to run this Marathon and hope to raise between £750-1000.
