As some of you will know my mum is being treated for oesophageal cancer at St Joseph’s Hospice in Liverpool and they are doing a fantastic job of looking after her. 

I am not a runner and never have been but having agreed to do the Liverpool half marathon in a moment of madness I am now really excited to be able to give something back.  It’s been a hard slog, training through the winter has been tough, but I am hoping it will all be worth it! 

I’d be really grateful if you could help me with my aim of raising money for St Joseph’s Hospice.
