In 2015, three Friesner sisters took on the mighty Great North Run…

In 2016, two Friesner sisters returned for the challenge with the addition of cousin, Sarah Clark…

New for 2017 (and most likely for one year only!) a family team of eight, yes eight (!), return to take on the North East's biggest and best challenge with a combined experience of 20 or so Great North Runs between them (most of them David’s, including the inaugural GNR in 1981!) to again raise funds for St Oswald’s Hospice based in Newcastle.

Ranging in age from 26 to 63, David, Joy, Holly, Barbara, Sarah, Andrea, Alex & Ali join forces to take on the 2017 Great North Run together to raise funds for the amazing St Oswald's Hospice who supported our dear, late family member Noel Dawson.
