Ann - a dearly loved mum, nan, sister, daughter, auntie, Godmother, mother-in-law and friend - requested that donations be made to the Group B Strep Support charity, to raise awareness of the impact of the GBS infection, and their work to prevent this life-threatening infection in newborn babies.

Sadly, thirteen years ago, on Sept 30th 2003, her newborn granddaughter Elizabeth did not survive early onset GBS infection, and died just 24 hours after her birth.
