Geordies and Smoggy's are taking part in a charity football match in aid of 3 yr old Ella Grace Hunter from Hexham who suffered a bleed on her brain at 6 weeks old which has cruelly left her with a hypoxic ischemic injury which has caused her to have quadriplegic cerebral palsy with spasticity and dystonia making Ella suffer up to 20 seizures a day. Ella needs to go to Panama city in America for Stem Cell Treatment where she will receive 40 million expanded allogeneic mesenchymal stem cells which will try and help repair the brain damage.

On the 12th of October 2019 at Druid Park in Newcastle upon Tyne, 2 teams made up of over 40's Geordies and Smoggy's will battle it out on the football field in aid of Ella . Each player will raise a minimum of £50 sponsorship which will all go towards Ella's treatment. The match is scheduled for a 3pm kick off and will last 90 minutes. This will also be a family fun day as well with Face Painter Alex from About Face tending to the children's and adults facial make up, Malcolm Matson the Magician will be showing off his tricks and capers in an around the pitch, and also the possibility of Bouncy Castles, Tyne and Wear Fire brigade and much much more.

If your sponsoring a player, DON'T FORGET to leave him a message and a mention of support for who they are playing for as the team with the most sponsorship gets kick off/choice of end and also first round of drinks afterwards paid for by the least sponsored team.
