This August 20 of us will be walking part of the Great Wall of China to raise as much money as possible for paediatric brain tumour research in memory of my daughter - beautiful 10 year old Katy Holmes. The trek is being organised by Life Changing Challenges who are just brilliant at helping people achieve their ambitions.

There were many things that Katy wanted to do in her short lifetime including the GWOC and Kilimanjaro. Last year i raised £10,000 climbing Kilimanjaro which was the most fantastic and emotional experience ever. This year i am hoping to raise thousands to fulfil another of Katy's wishes. 

Katy suffered so badly at the hands of an evil brain tumour and when you have seen your child go through something like that you feel it your duty to do what you can to try to help find a cure. Sadly there is no cure yet, we don't even know what causes brain tumours! Scarily though brain tumours are the BIGGEST cancer killer of UK children and adults under 40. 

This is going to be my final fundraiser. The past 4 years have been extremely hard and now it is time to try to live again for the sake of my other daughters.
