Story
As some of you may already know I'm running the Brighton Marathon this year in support of The Clock Tower Sanctuary.
The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only day centre in Brighton & Hove for 16-25-year-olds who are homeless or insecurely housed. They're open six days a week and provide the practical and emotional support that homeless young people need to move from crisis to independence. At their day-centre, they offer washing and laundry facilities, hot meals, confidence-building activities, Life Skills classes and support with accessing health services, benefits, accommodation, training and work.
The Sanctuary means a lot to me on a personal level. Some time ago, they provided vital care and support for a dear friend of mine when he was at his lowest ebb. Sadly, their services remain in high demand, now more than ever, as the homelessness crisis in Brighton and cities across the UK continues to worsen.
Please help me to raise money for this important cause, as I prepare for my first marathon on April 19th.
