As you may all know the last 12 months have been the most difficult of my life. I lost my rock, my best friend and the best pony a girl could ever ask for.He was my little angel for 17 years of my life. Just 4 months later I unexpectedly lost my Dad as well to Alcoholism. It has been the toughest time but as it is coming up to what would have been my Dad's 50th birthday and Bobby's anniversary I decided to take on a challenge to honour them both.

On August the 7th I will be flying with one of my dad's closest friends Jim to Spain, where we will start the longest ride of our lives so far. We will start in the high mountains of 0'Cebreiro and ride 780km over 7 days, ending in Santiago de Compostela. 

I have chosen this challenge for a number of reasons: for my love of horses, for my Dad's love of Spain and the fact that riding in Spain with my Dad were some of my best memories.

All proceeds will be going to Horse Sense Wirral which is a local charity near to where I kept Bobby, in order to give them some extra funds before the winter sets in.
