Members of Galway Fire & Rescue will sleep outside their stations across the city and county on Thursday 22nd March to experience for one night what many face on a daily basis while raising much-needed funds for Galway Simon Community.

While attending incidents throughout the city and county we’ve witnessed first hand the dramatic increase in the number of people sleeping rough and we decided it was time to do something to help those who are struggling with homelessness in our community.

We chose to support Galway Simon because we felt this was best way to make a real difference as they provide essential services and support to those experiencing or at risk of homelessness throughout Galway City & County.

All proceeds raised through this event will go directly towards preventing and addressing homelessness in Galway.
