There are three main reasons why I'm doing this, firstly, my wife (twice), son and mother are all cancer survivors, and live happy and fulfilled lives. Secondly my sister-in-law, who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, is going through the whole chemo,surgery,radiotherapy treatment process just now. Finally having friends and neighbours who have lost loved ones, whom without the support and work of Marie Curie and similar organisations life would be a lot different for them and no doubt me as well.
