Story

Hello All

I know this is short notice as we are now less than 2 weeks away !!

I will be running this event alongside friends and Savills colleagues Sam Foyle and Cameron Bell. We will be raising money for Saint Catherine Hospice up in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

For those that don't know my Dad David was cared for during the last few weeks of his life by the incredible Doctors and Nurses who work at this hospice. My Dad passed away earlier this summer. Dads condition was mesothelioma a type of cancer that develops around the lungs and chest wall.  He was exposed to asbestos in the 1970's and sadly by the time he realised this fact little could be done to prolong his life, despite a determined and brave fight to the end where he faced each day with his  same cheeky sense of humour.

I am not a natural runner!! but have shed 2 stone during the training process. No target time set- just to get round and to raise some funds so if any of you could spare anything towards our efforts that that would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you

Gary, Sam and Cam
