Story

Well can you believe it, even after having to run up that hill for the first time last year, I have decided to enter this years Balmoral 10K again!!

Once again I will be running on behalf of Clydeside Action on Asbestos in memory of my Grandfather Andy & my Uncle Bill who have both died from asbestos related diseases.

Since Bill's tragic death on 1st April last year my family's fundraising efforts have raised over £5000 for the charity & along with Bill's 3 daughters, I was made an Honourary Member of the charity last year.

Not only am I hoping to raise as much money as possible but I am also hoping to beat last year's time of 51mins 42secs.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting my just giving page & remind you that donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

All donations would be most appreciated.

Cheers,

Gary.
