We would like to raise money for the Llanberis rescue team who provided the response and assistance for Mally when he tragically fell to his death whilst climbing Mount Snowdon in July 2017. We will be aiming to complete the walk in around 40 hours, setting off at 03:00, Friday 30th November 2018 AM.

Mally was a great friend to all who were lucky enough to know him and he was a big influence on my life. I (Gaz) met Mally when he gave me my first job in Security as a Doorman and we quickly became friends. We had a mutual passion for weight lifting and I was lucky enough to compete alongside Mal in his first strongman competition at the Iron pit gym in which he took home the first place trophy. I would like to complete this challenge and place my competition T-shirt around the area in which he sadly lost his life.

I (Ryan) also first met mally when he interviewed me for my first door supervisor role and we immediately hit it off ... For the next four years our relationship grew stronger and he became far more than just my area manager he was always a barrel of laughs and bore the brunt of most of our pranks but as for all that new Mal he was always up for a giggle... Mallys heart was bigger than him and for one of Britain's strongest men at over 20st that says it all... He made sure that all his lads were looked after as best as he could and hundreds in the industry wouldn't be where they are today without him including myself .x

Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team is one of the busiest in the UK with an annual callout rate of over 220 incidents. Based in and around the Snowdon area the team is made up of about 50 volunteers from all walks of life who are all experienced mountaineers. As a registered charity, we rely entirely on your donations to carry out the work we do in helping other mountain users.
