Everyone who knows me knows I am a keen runner and also a big lover of Border Collies. On the 14th October I will be tackling the Yorkshire Marathon and whilst doing it I thought I would raise some money for the Border Collie Trust a charity which is close to my heart. In May 2004 we got our first Border Collie (Ben) from the Border Collie Trust. Unfortunately Ben is no longer with us but we are grateful for the opportunity they gave us to share our lives with these amazing animals.

The Border Collie Trust does a fantastic job rehoming Border Collies but the site which they are based on is under threat from HS2. The likelihood is they will have to move location so any money raised will help towards or that or help with the day to day running of the rescue centre.
