Weather, health and covid restrictions permitting, me and adventure dog will be setting out at the end of February to hike the entire length of the South West Coast Path from the start point in Minehead, round the coasts of Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and Dorset, to the finish point in Poole, in one go, carrying my tent, food and bed on my back!

The official path length is 630 miles, although the true distance we walk with diversions to campsites and getting lost is likely to be longer. We'll be walking to a rough plan of around 6 weeks to complete the path.

The weather is liable to be cold, wet and windy, and the ground muddy and slippery, so doggo and I are going to need some motivation to keep going, and knowing we're raising money for two small, local charities doing amazing work in North Staffordshire, might just be the extra push we need to see it through!
