Story

At the age of 26 Mark Taylor was diagnosed with Motor neurone disease (MND), he had won the FA Vase with Whitley Bay FC the previous year and was a very popular PE Teacher at Kenton School (where he still works). This horrendous physical condition stops muscle activity, including gripping, walking, speaking, swallowing and breathing, there currently isn't a cure.

Mark would like to raise as much money as possible to thank the MND team who have been such fantastic support and ensure that the care and facilities provided by them are enhanced by the funds that we are able to raise.

We will be holding a charity football tournament at Monkseaton High School on Saturday 11th July with an auction and entertainment afterwards at 42nd street, Whitley Bay and encourage you donate to the incredible centre who has done so much to help Mark.

Mark is so grateful for all of the support he has been given in his fundraising quest and would like to thank you all yet again. It really does mean a lot to him.
