My name is George, I’m 84 years young and I’m going to do a charity tandem skydive for VISTA. 

My wonderful wife, Nora, who passed away in February this year, suffered from macular degeneration for the last 13 years of her life.  She could no longer see to do the things she had loved and enjoyed so much throughout her life.

When we needed someone the most, VISTA were there for us with support and advice, showing us ways to cope which gave Nora some independence back.

As a thank you and to help raise money for VISTA so they can carry on their good work, i am doing a tandem skydive on 10th June from Langar Airfield. I have never even been up in an aeroplane before!
