Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

The Care Management Team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary are raising monies for Therapets. Sometimes small miracles occur and people who have never spoken and have difficulty in expressing emotions come to life at the appearance of a dog in the ward or care home. This being to the surprise of  nursing or care staff. In many instances the presence of a canine friend provides enjoyment and some light relief to people who may have found it difficult to express themselves.  Help us to raise both awareness and much needed cash for this volunteer service.

About the charity

Formed in 1988, CCST is an entirely voluntary charity. Its 'Therapet' service involves registered dogs and their owners visiting hospitals, nursing homes, schools and other institutions on a regular basis to provide ‘pet therapy’, restore confidence and bring happiness to everyone they encounter.
