Next weekend, I'll be taking on my biggest-ever cycling challenge - riding 180 miles across some of Yorkshire's toughest territory in two days. 

After a few weeks of intense preparation (including far too many gruelling, wet, early morning training rides for my liking) I hope I'll get round in one piece... even though I've done some long rides, I've never packed this much riding into such a short time before, and frankly I don't know if I'll complete the course...

But if I do, it will be because I'm spurred on by the thought that all of you lovely supporters have pledged to donate money to the one charity that's devoted to ending child cruelty.
