On the 1st January 2016 I lost my grandmother, Christine Shurley to Pancreatitis. Ever since she passed away I told myself I wanted to raise awareness for the disease as well as raise money for a charity who helps those suffering from Pancreatitis or who are friends, family or colleagues of someone with the disease. Never the less I have not yet done this and this is why I have decided that on the Wednesday 20th December  2017 I am going to cycle two laps of a 54.5 mile route therefore totalling to just over 100 miles. I would've selected a longer and more challenging route but a lack of spare time for training and a desire to complete the proposed route has led me to limiting the distance to one which will be achievable (hopefully).
