Story

This is still a very close appeal to me as I'm sure it is for other people!

Perhaps you are aware of 1 million pound appeal that Doncaster Cancer detection trust launch last year the aim is have in place a new scanning facilities and a brand new treatment suite at Doncaster Royal Infirmary allowing patients to receive their radiotherapy treatment here in Doncaster rather than having to make the journey to Sheffield.

To this cause we the Thorne Rural Lions club in conjunction with Doncaster Cancer Detection trust are planning this sponsored walk in Doncaster on Sunday 11th June 2017 to raise monies for very important project for Doncaster, Bassettlaw & South Yorkshire folk. The route starts in Doncaster at The Pavilion, Town Moor and goes through Doncaster and ends up back at The Pavilion, Town Moor.
