Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page but before I ask you to dig deep and give what you can, I feel I ought to tell you a little about me and how I came to be running the London Marathon to raise money for the Samson Centre.
Why run 26miles?
I received an email at work to ask if anyone would consider running the London Marathon. I clicked away from the email and then later clicked back to see if anyone had said yes to helping the Samson Centre. I had already committed to running the Brighton Marathon for a local charity on the 15th April and the London Marathon was only a week later...
If it had not been such a worthy cause then maybe I would have given it a miss, but how could I?
Please help me support this worthwhile charity. I have no links to anyone who suffers with MS and I know I'm lucky because of this, but not everyone is as fortunate as me.
I'll be standing proudly on the start line in my Samson Centre running vest, hoping that together we can make a difference.
Please give what you can and I'll do my best to run like the wind and make everyone proud!
Thanks,
Georgie
