Story

One of so many things Georgina and I had in common was a love of pets. Over 37 years we have had five dogs and fifteen cats, they have provided a bond in a strong family and a lifetime of joy that far outweigh the sorrow when they pass. Any home is better for a having a pet



About the charity

Stokenchurch dog rescue was originally formed by local residents in 1963 to save the lives of stray and unwanted dogs. We never destroy a healthy dog, believing that somewhere there is a kind and permanent home for every dog. We also take in and care for the sick, the old and the traumatised.
