I've recently been lucky enough to start volunteering with The Schools Consent Project. The Project sends lawyers into schools around the UK where we run workshops with 11 - 18 years olds in order to empower them with the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to make safe, healthy choices around sexual consent.  

SCP is a charity and therefore in order to ensure that as many school-aged children are offered the opportunity to partake in these workshop, fundraising is vitally important. 

With that said, towards the end of last year I put my name into the London Marathon ballot and luckily/unluckily (my opinion on this changes frequently), I won a place. On the 2nd of October I will be attempting to run 26.2 miles around London and in doing so I'm hoping to raise some money for this brilliant charity.
