We offer mum to mum breastfeeding support to help all babies get the best start

Story

The Breastfeeding Network provides invaluable support and information to mums nationwide who would otherwise struggle or give up feeding their babies.

The charity has been a huge part of my life for the past 4 years - firstly providing support and encouragement to me with feeding my 2 youngest babies and then providing me with the training to be a Helper and then on to the next level to become a Peer Supporter so that I can support other mums in the way I was helped when I needed it at drop in groups as well as on the helpline.

The BfN has lost funding for their Gosport & Havant branch so we are doing all we can to raise enough money to allow us to continue providing our service. That's where you come in. If you can spare as little as £3 (or as much as you would like!) you will be helping not only me to reach my target of £200 but you will also be part of every success story we help to build. How beautiful is that! :)

I will keep you updated on my training progress as and when I can. Anybody who knows me will know that I only started running in January when a fellow volunteer roped me into running the women's 10k race in Southampton to raise money for the BfN and I enjoyed it so much that I'm going to carry on! I can currently run 5k (semi) comfortably so 10 miles will be a big challenge for me! But I will enjoy the challenge, as with every tear and drop of sweat I produce, it reminds me of the babies and mamas I am running for which makes it all totally worth it. :)

THANK YOU so so so much for your support! Xxx
