This summer we will be travelling to Tamale, Ghana, to help work and run a summer camp for underprivileged children aged 9-11.

As a group of 16 english youth, we will be collaborating with the local youth leaders of the rural community. 

For many of these young people this will be the first time they have ever encountered a white person! We aim to give them an escape from their daily lives and give them a fun summer, and an understanding of the wider world and different cultures and traditions that they would not have had the opportunity to learn about. 

The team have put together an amazing educational summer camp, the money raised will go to funding the games, school resources and equipment such as all kinds of arts as crafts, dress up, books, sport equipment that we can take and leave at the school in Tamale.
