We train Medical Alert & Bio Detection Dogs to save lives by detecting human disease

Story

I am running for Medical Detection Dogs as they are a small charity that do some seriously amazing stuff! Their dogs detect Cancer early and save lives and they are also very cute!

I have completed loads of 10k, 13 mile and  two Marathons over the last 7 years and wanted to end my running career in style. The 100km Grand Union Challenge goes from Paddington to Bletchley following the Canal. I hope to finish in under 15 hours. To train I am going to need to build up to running for over 10 hours (Why!!!!)

Wish me luck and please give generously. Check this link out for more info -

Medical Detection Dogs trains dogs to detect the odour of disease. Our research includes cancer, Parkinson's and other diseases and could save millions of lives by improving diagnostics. We already help people manage complex, life-threatening medical conditions by training Medical Alert Dogs.
