In 2016 I visited Rwanda and Uganda to see the projects run by The Gorillas Organisation. I was so impressed that I was determined to do something special for them.

That something was crawling the London Marathon dressed as a Gorilla earlier this year, which raised an amazing £50,000.

Great as that was, we can't rest on our laurels, as the threats to the Gorillas are still very real in the form of poaching and habitat loss, and the remedies, in the form of planting new forest, and funding rangers, costs money.

This is why I have decided it is time to suffer again in the name of our primate cousins.
