Hey there!

Here you can do something good for yourself, your children or future children, or your third cousin's children (everyone has or will have third cousins, right?). Or for the planet, if you prefer to put it that way. We are raising for the Environmental Investigation Agency.

What does this not-so-secret Agency do? Some examples:

• They fight with illegal trade of wild animals, especially Pangolins, the animals that, most probably, are the origin of the current Coronavirus outbreak.
• In cooperation with Greenpeace they made a research on UK supermarkets' plastic waste contribution. Full report with nice charts here. As a result they influenced big players to work towards eliminating single-use plastic. While Greenpeace helps harness public opinion, EIA does the analysis and monitors progress year on year.
  
• EIA’s approach also brought about changes in international laws and government policies. Now you can finally stop worrying about the emissions of ozone depleting hydrofluorocarbons, it's sorted ;)
• Did I say 'not-so-secret-? That's quit not true. They do undercover investigations to collect evidence of environmental crimes and abuse. What about a whip-round for a voice pen to record ivory traffickers or a camera to get intel of illegal logging? Read here first-hand accounts of working undercover.
  

This is Gosia writing. Carlo couldn't, he is training. I can't run... that fast and long. Thankfully we have him. So here's the deal: he will run the Virgin London Marathon 2021 and we will all together support the Agency to fight for a greener and cleaner Earth. Unless you want to run the Marathon too...
