Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Isobel tragically died of lung cancer in May 2021. The Northern Centre for Cancer Care (NCC), based at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle, could not have done any more for Isobel both in terms of the treatment and support they gave to her. It is a great comfort to me to know that she received the best possible care.
I am on 22 July going to undertake a 100 mile cycle in Isobel's memory and to raise funds for NCC. My sister (Elizabeth), brother in law (Russell) and nephew (Euan) are joining me on the ride and we will be supported by my niece (Fiona) and her husband Craig. Our route will take us round some of the spots Isobel and I liked to regularly visit in Northumberland.
NCC are part of the Newcastle Hospital Charity-all funds raised will go specifically to NCC to support the fantastic work they do.
