Participants: I'm running with my friend and mountain marathon partner Matt Whaley, or at least we'll start together and I'll catch up with him at Sarah B's G&T stand at the finish!
We address illness/challenges in the young to improve the lives of young people

Story

Thank you so much for even visiting this page and for any support you can give - no matter how small.

Beefy has done so much incredible work for charity including raising millions for leukemia  research, and his foundation now supports a number of other charities that help young people.  Also, Sarah B is a personal friend and the driving force behind the organisation of these events and it's great to be able to support her, Beefy and the Foundation in a practical way.

It has also encouraged me to spend a bit more time in my running shoes - thanks Sarah!

PS. Hopefully I won't have a minor nav error to recover from (as in the photo above) on this run!  And the snow certainly makes my hair look grey doesn't it?

About the charity

Beefy’s Charity Foundation was founded in January 2013 to channel the charitable efforts of Lord Botham into a wider field. We are currently funding specific projects in: Batten Disease Family Association Yorkshire's Brain Tumour Charity JDRF - research into type 1 diabetes Blood Cancer UK
