On October 2nd 2011, I will be running the Loch Ness marathon and raising money for the Isabel Hospice. Isabel Hospice is a charity providing care for patients and their families living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in Hertfordshire in the Welwyn Hatfield & East Herts Districts and Broxbourne Borough, providing Home Care, Day Care, In-patient Care and Family Support. All the services are provided free of charge.

To make life interesting, I will running in fancy dress and currently have two in the offing - a Loch Ness Monster suit (original for this marathon?) or piggy backing a Scottish granny (yes, this is not a typo). Please feel free to offer your favourite choice or anything else you can think of. I doubt I'll be making any PB's this year, but I'll certainly embarass a number of runners as I stroll past ;-)
