At very short notice ie with a week to go I have a place on the Reading 1/2 marathon. While 13 miles doesn't sound like a huge challenge, not drinking for a week is going to really test me and be painful. But nothing like the sacrifice that many children and their families and carers go through with no choice but to soldier on.

PLEASE help me to help them by giving them the experience of a lifetime and some joy.
