As many of you know, my dad lost his long battle against Parkinson’s late last year. I had previously promised him that I would do a lengthy charity bike ride in his honour....so here it is!

Lindsey did the Ride100 last year and has promised to guide me through the race from start to finish. She’s also helped with our training so it’s really a joint  effort.  Wish us luck, we’re going to need it.

So far training has involved mending punctures, fixing chains, being attacked by dogs and - thanks to Fitzy - wheezing up Boxhill.  So it hasn’t really gone to plan, but come Sunday 29 July all will hopefully fall into place  

Getting sponsorship is really important to us  Parkinson’s will benefit massively from whatever we can raise. Please dig deep and I promise not to badger you again for charity money for the rest of the year (smiley face)
