The Farriers Foundation is a charitable incorporated organisation with the aim of providing relief of financial hardship amongst farriers or retired farriers and their dependants who, by virtue of illness or premature retirement or any other reason, have need of such assistance.

Farriery is a close knit community - news travels fast, especially if someone is in hardship. The Farriers Foundation was born from a realisation by Jon Nunn, inspired by the late Richard Ellis DipWCF (Hons), that there is a need amongst our own profession for help and support, whether financial or practical.
