Story
Autism is a lifelong, developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with and relates to other people, and how they experience the world around them.
Having a child with special needs feels much the same as it does not to, and yet, well…different. Having a child with special needs feels like you won the lottery times infinity times a gajillion because, as every mum knows, having a baby introduces a level of love that we’d never have imagined.
Having a child with special needs also feels jealous, sad, and a little bit cheated.
It also means that at some point, you realize that your child is different.
And because of that, you are, too.
Without this group, many of us felt alone, afraid to socialise with our children, felt judged everywhere we go.
Please if you have any spare money for this wonderful charity every penny is gratefully received.
My gorgeous son and nephews alone benefit from group.
