I started running just over a year ago. Due to COVID and work, I have not done much training, but on Sunday 3rd of October I will be running the Virtual London Marathon around Plymouth!  All 26.2 miles of it! It won’t be fast, but I will get it to the end (don’t ask about how I will get to work on Monday!)

I am raising money for Above Water UK. They work with schools to raise awareness of water safety and help prevent drowning. They are a small, local charity and their work is something I am very passionate about as someone who teaches in a primary school and coaches / teaches sea swimming (ACE, Making Waves and Wave Plymouth aren’t currently registered charities).
