Story

Thank you for visiting my page.

I had a milestone birthday earlier this year, and to prove to myself that I’m not really getting old, I’ve decided to cycle from Lands End to John O Groats, mostly solo and unsupported.

Given recent world events, Im aiming to raise funds for a wonderful local charity that supports refugees and asylum seekers via counselling and psychotherapy, mentoring, specialist services for women and young people, advice and training - and has continued to do so throughout the pandemic.Refugee Resource is unique in being the only dedicated refugee therapy service in Oxfordshire, offering long-term, tailored support to promote peoples mental health and well-being.

If you’re willing to consider sponsoring me that would be a huge encouragement. You could sponsor me per mile, per flapjack consumed or a total on condition that I complete the ride. I’ll keep you posted on miles, “fuel” consumption and progress. I’d hope the miles might outnumber the flapjacks consumed but you never know! Thanks so much for your support.
