Story
Hello! Thank you so much for checking out our page.
We are trekking to Everest Base Camp this May, to raise money for Humane Society International's work to save animals across the globe.
The 'base' in Base Camp sounds rather comforting but the point on Everest we are trekking to is an intimidating 5364m above sea level (very high!), for people who don't like walking uphill and do like there to be plenty of oxygen in the air this two week trek constitutes a real challenge!
All of the money raised will go directly to help animal charity HSI which works across the world saving street dogs, closing dog meat farms, providing relief for animals affected by natural disasters, opposing the fur trade, aiding conservation, opposing trophy hunting, helping farmed animals... the list goes on. As I (Harriet) work for the charity I see the real, life-changing impacts it has for animals on an almost daily basis, which is why we are inspired to help support the projects run by HSI.
Any sponsorship would be hugely appreciated, no amount is too small (or too large!).
