Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I am a Welfare Officer for RSPCA Central and North East London Branch. You may follow our updates on our facebook page and twitter feeds. I work alongside the other two welfare officers out on the road across our branch area and beyond. Every day we rescue cats, small furries and of course the occasional dog and bring them to our emergency fostering unit in Holloway, most desperately need our help and have sometimes come from the most awful of circumstances.

I took up cycling recently and am taking on this mighty challenge on June 22nd this year so I have a lot of training to do! It's 152 miles! Yes 152 miles...in ONE day! It's also RSPCA Week which coincides with my cycle! See link below...

It would be amazing if you could sponsor me! The more we can raise, the more animals we can help. The summer will be a particularly difficult time for us at the branch and we will no doubt be inundated with unwanted, stray, feral and abandoned kittens - along with their mums. Every single penny you can spare can help us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome them so even the smallest amount will be appreciated.

Thank you so much on behalf of all the needy animals of Central & NE London!

About the charity

Each year the Central London Branch of the RSPCA helps around 1,500 cats, dogs, rabbits and other animals. One of our main activities is running a cat neutering scheme, which helps people who cannot afford vets' fees, to have their animals neutered. This service is available in the Greater London area, with the support of other RSPCA branches and other charities. We also do as much as we can to help animals in distress, and find them permanent or temporary homes. We are a separate charity from RSPCA Headquarters with responsibility for raising funds to pay for the work that we do. We constantly apply our funds to help as many animals as possible in the Branch area.
