Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am fundraising for the Evelina Children's Hospital Charity (ECHO). On 21st December 2016 our son Thomas was born with a very rare heart condition called Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome (HRHS), he also has Tricuspid Atresia, Pulmonary Atresia and VSD. This basically means that he only has half a working heart so needs a lot of help from the Evelina. He has had his first major heart operation and is due for a few more in his lifetime along with various other procedures. Without the help of this fantastic hospital and the facilities that ECHO provide as a charity our son may not be here today. 

I have decided to fundraise for the Evelina Hospital and for the charity ECHO by firstly wanting to conquer my fear of heights. I will be doing a walk on top of the o2 arena in London (date to be confirmed), which for me is a massive step, and just a small thing to raise money and show my appreciation to such a fantasic team of doctors/nurses/cardiologists etc. The list is endless, but without all of these our son would not be here. I haven't set a limit to the amount to raise, because for me I just want to raise as much as I can so that in the future other families will be able to benefit from the fantastic facilities and support this place offers.

Any additional money raised after a target is hit for ECHO will be going to Little Hearts Matter who have also been fantastic in offering family support.
