You will notice now that I am not alone in helping raise money for the Willow Foundation!

My long suffering running partner, Graham, is running London this year too and had no hesitation in volunteering to help me on this fundraising mission.

Sarah, Graham's long suffering wife , is going to run her first half marathon on behalf of the Willow Foundation too! This is absolutely fantastic and I can't thank her enough!

Sarah has just completed the first week of her training plan! However, Graham and I are both nursing injuries at the moment but are confident we will be back training in the next couple of days!

Most mornings we are up and running by 5.30am to get in the miles. This year we are trying double runs too!

Maria is busy fund raising up in Nottingham for us - pudding evenings and charity bags! Here we have several fund raisers planned as well! A golf day on 10th March - which was brilliant! Thank you to all that managed to attend! Looking forward to the gig on 28th April! We will keep you updated on this!

Well Sarah is doing absolutely fantastic! She has stuck to her training plan and is more than ready for her first half Marathon in two weeks! I have joked with her about taking my place in London. My training looks like it will be a four week plan with no taper!! Graham is doing really well but looks like I'll be on my bike with him for the last longer runs!! My trusted physio, Sue Pearson, has told me not to panic - YET!!

YEAH! Sarah completed her first half marathon in style in 2 hours 26 minutes! We will find out how much she has raised after we have completed London! Only one week to go for us - yikes!!
