Story
Last summer, I went on my first proper hike up a mountain called the Sugar Loaf, in Wales, and I absolutely loved it. Yes, it was challenging for me at the time, and yes it was freezing; I was being smacked in the face with sheets of rain (it's Wales!) but it felt amazing to reach the summit.
In 2016, I am stepping it up a few notches and, along with a few friends, heading straight for the highest mountain in England - Scafell Pike! I want to use this occasion to support MyBnk, a wonderful charity (visit their page on the right) that is dedicated to empowering young people to take charge of their future by bringing money and enterprise to life. Money or business matters don't have to be dull and boring, and the MyBnk way is upbeat, energetic workshops that teach young people about banking, budgeting and setting up a business.
Why?? Well, 1 in 4 young people thought an ISA is an energy drink! :/
... and only 1 in 3 16-24 year olds have at least £1,000 in savings.
Your donation will not only keep me motivated but more importantly contribute to changes in our current and future generation. For every £20 raised, MyBnk can put one young person through their Money Twist programme, and support them in controlling their personal finances.
Now if you have really read this far (can you tell I like to write?), what are you waiting for?? Please support us and donate generously :)
Thank you! Merci! Shukriya! Danke! Gracias! Arigato! :)
