For years the furthest I have ever run was a about 2 miles and I wouldn't exactly call myself a runner. But for 2015 I'm going to make sure this changes! After going to Uni in Cardiff I really wanted to do the Cardiff Half Marathon in October but to increase the challenge I am going to add a 10k to my 2015 challenge! 2 challenges and total distance of 31km!

Send a Cow is a Bath-based international development charity that provides poor families with the skills they need to build new lives free from poverty and hunger. By providing training, livestock, seeds and support, they restore hope and create stronger communities for the future. They are not a massive charity but the work they do, really is vital to changing these families lives.

Small amounts can make a real difference, for example:

£10 can buy a family a Bag garden. These are a simple way to grow as many vegetables as you can in a small space – up to 50 veggies at once!

£20 will buy a Clean Latrine (a toilet). This provides good hygiene and sanitation is key to improving a family’s health and prospects.

£30 can simply Educate a child - always a vital one to support the next generation in Africa.
