We support and empower young people to help them fulfil their potential

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. The decision to collect sponsorship is totally last minute, made on my final training run for the 10K on Sunday!

I haven't done a 10K for nearly two years, so it is going to be quite a personal challenge.  As I was plodding along this evening I thought 'since I am doing something positive for me, why not do something positive for other people?'

I have decided to support Centre 33 as it is world mental health day on October 10th and I would like to promote world mental health day as well as helping young people with mental health issues.

This years world mental health day is focusing on Mental Health in the work place, so should be of interest to a fair few of you!

Centre 33 is an open access service for 8 -25 year olds and specialises in supporting young carers, supporting young people with mental health problems and providing information and support on topics such as housing, sexual health and health and wellbeing to young people. We rely on outside funding and donations to deliver our services.

Please visit Centre 33's website if you are interested to find out more!

In return for your coinage shall post a picture of my sweaty post race self complete with medal or certificate or whatever I will hopefully be getting!
