Story
The Retro Computer Museum just outside Leicester is very close to my heart for many reasons. The main one is I’m a little bit of an retro technology enthusiast. The museum provides open access to play on many old computers ranging from the 1970’s to nearly modern age. They ensure this part of our history is preserved and not hidden away. It plays a key part in education, supporting organised school trips, and is a wonderful value for money day out for all. The RCM is a charity that gives back to the community ensuring our history is preserved in a way it can be hands on for all.
COVID-19 has struck the museum hard, as the majority of funding comes from entrance fees to the museum. To ensure the future of this amazing window into our history, they need our support.
I cannot recommend visiting them enough, go you’ll have fun.
