Spurred on by the amazing, life changing work, that Creating
Better Futures do in Zimbabwe through education and feeding programmes, we have decided that we want to help them continue to make a difference.

By deciding to run the Reading half marathon not only are we going to go through many gruelling training sessions in this miserable weather. We are also pushing our bodies, having overcome old injuries and for Sue, operations in 2016/17 which have prevented us from running consistently over the last two years, so this really is quite a challenge for us.

We aren’t in our 20s anymore and we know it’s going to be
tough, but we also know it will be worth it for so many children who aren’t as fortunate as ours.  

As a company Heritage were drawn to the passion that Dorothy Dix has in her desire to give back to the children of Zimbabwe and offer the opportunity that she once had as a young girl growing up in a poverty stricken country.

Creating Better Futures promote the positive impact that their education and feeding programmes have on the children of Zimbabwe.  Offering them the opportunity of an education that they may otherwise not receive and regular meals they may not get to eat. The children of Zimbabwe are so grateful for any support you can offer as are we.
