Mum had a long battle with cancer and the groups and support she had was amazing. The care given was appreciated by our family but resources are so thin on the ground, there can never be enough thrown at this cruel disease to help make the patients journey slightly easier on them and their families. Mum had thankfully just become a grandma for the first time and cherished our daughter. I'm running for both mum and Isla to honour mums memory.
